What is map based MLS searching?
Map based MLS searching is the latest technology for house buyers. Imagine this:
Someone comes to your website to search for a house for sale. They don’t know the zip codes, but they know where on the map they would like to live. Instead of trying to bounce back and forth between the MLS listing and a map to see if the house is in their territory, they STAY on a map of the area looking for homes. They zoom down to the area they want, and houses JUST for sale in that area pop-up on the map. When they find a house, they can switch over to the aerial photography to see if the area is clear cut track homes or is a nice wooded area with mature trees. In some areas, Google even has a street view of the actual house in the neightborhood.
