GSA Contract 541.3

GSA Awards Contract to Local Internet Technology Firm, NeoNexus Corporation

Charleston, WV— The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded a GSA Federal Contract to local internet technology firm NeoNexus Corporation.  The contract will allow government agencies to utilize a broad range of NeoNexus’s services, including: web design, graphic design, web marketing, social media consulting, programming (.Net, PHP, Java) and smart phone programming.

The application and review process for obtaining a GSA contract is both tedious and lengthy.  Kent Milholland, President of NeoNexus Corporation explains:  “We submitted our application for a GSA contract in November 2010 and received our official acceptance on January 16, 2012.  Getting pre-qualified and approved by the GSA requires a lot of work and a strong commitment, but we feel the rewards will be well worth the effort.  NeoNexus is now able to receive government work orders up to our $1 million contract amount without per project bidding.”

The Federal government has a budget estimated at approximately $200 million per year for advertising and integrated market services (AIMS, category 541.3), the category of services NeoNexus provides.  Only about 150 companies nationwide have GSA contracts in this category, indicating great potential for NeoNexus as the GSA’s newest approved provider.  Milholland projects:  “It’s not just our track record for proven results, but also our location that should appeal to government agencies.  Because we are based in West Virginia and North Carolina–not Washington, D.C. –, our labor and overhead costs are lower, allowing us to offer more competitive pricing.”

About NeoNexus Corporation:  In 2005, Kent Milholland founded NeoNexus.  The company quickly expanded from one location in Charleston, West Virginia to a second office in downtown Wilmington, NC.  A full-service technology company, NeoNexus provides: smart phone software, website development, custom databases, web marketing and more to businesses and agencies of all sizes.  Thanks to a results-oriented approach (For example, NeoNexus took an automotive repair client from $0 online revenue in 2009 to over $80,000 of revenue online in 2010 and increased traffic for a vacation rental company from 12,000 visitors to 46,000 visitors per month), many of their nearly 300 web clients have been referrals.
